Opportunities for Support
URS, through its mission of helping people with disabilities achieve the highest
possible level of independence, has for the past 45 years developed and implemented
vocational rehabilitation services in response to the needs and wants of our
consumers. We have provided cost effective employment solutions to business
and industry, and have enabled many individuals to become self-sustaining taxpayers.
It all makes sense - If you are interested in supporting the mission of URS, there are several ways to contribute financially, either now; through a memorial/honorary gift; estate planning benefits; and year end gifts.
Your generous contribution will enable URS to improve the quality, design, and delivery of services to individuals; thus allowing more options to assist consumers to reach their goals of employment, self determination, and community inclusion.
Philanthrophy is not just for the wealthy, but for anyone with long range goals that appreciate the lives of persons with disabilities and the service of URS in helping them accomplish their goals.
Additionally, there may be significant tax benefits when you make a gift to a qualified charity.
Your gift to URS is tax deductible in keeping with IRS Codes for contributions to 501 (c)(3) non-profit organizations.
Types of Donations to Consider:
Memorial Gifts:
You can make a donation to URS as a tribute to the memory of a departed person.
A contribution of this type, in lieu of flowers, continues to help others gain
valuable support.
Gift of Honor:
A donation of this type can recognize a loved one or friend in a special way:
birthday, anniversary, promotion, or any time that may call for letting a person
know they are being thought of. Both memorial and honor gifts will be recognized
by URS and the recipient and family will receive notice of our appreciation.
